Senior Software Tester

A global company with an established SaaS Development Centre in Dublin City Centre is looking to build the next generation of software that will propel their business in the future.

To support this endeavor, they now wish to recruit an experienced Software Tester with experience testing large scale enterprise business applications and web based apps.

The successful candidate will help maintain and improve the high level of product quality.

Core Responsibilities:

* Liaise with the Product Owners / Developers, creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured tests for existing and new features.
* Execute tests with developers prior to code commit.
* Coordinate with development teams to educate on quality methods and execute tests.
* Using different techniques, develop test cases & testing activities as part of the overall development teams
* Support story refining and use story points as a metric for estimation.
* Oversee and identify quality issues, defects, performance issues, problems, bugs, root causes and potential solutions.
* Efficiently manage the resolution of quality issues, defects, performance issues, problems and bugs.
* Participate in scrum ceremonies and challenge requirements.

Skills & Expertise Required:

* ISEB / ISTQB qualified as well as an IT Degree.
* Experience testing large scale enterprise business applications.
* Working knowledge of Web based apps, SQL, Jira, Confluence.
* iOS / Mobile / Tablet apps experience is a plus.
* Familiar with Test planning/ Test estimation/ Test design.
* Experience running test automation scripts.
* Performance and/or security testing an advantage.
