Scrum Master - Daily Rate Contract

I am currently working with a large client of mine with a base in Dublin City Centre, and they are looking to take on an experienced Scrum Master to join their dynamic and innovative team in Dublin on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate should have at least 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master and should have commercial experience working with agile methodology.

Responsibilities:

* Drive Scrum methodology across development teams
* Coach development teams on Scrum methodology and adoption
* Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and ceremonies are adhered to
* Responsibility for resolving impediments
* Leading the team by example

Requirements:

* Strong experience in a Scrum Master role for a software development team
* Project Management experience
* Deep understanding of software development processes including Agile/Scrum processes
* Understand fundamentals of iterative development
* Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
* Knowledge of other Agile approaches e.g. Kanban, XP, Crystal
* Ability to motivate and coach others
* Strong team player
* Excellent communication skills
