IT Security Administrator - Dublin Based

Excellent opportunity to join a massively respected company with strong reputation for IT Security talent.

Work on all aspect of IT Security. Assist in the installation, configuration and monitoring of IT Security technologies and network infrastructure with a focus on response to security system alerts and suspicious network activity. Assist in researching emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security practices/standards to maintain and improve the security position.

Experience:

* Good experience in the IT industry, including experience in a network/security related role.
* Knowledge of network standards, technologies and protocols
* Knowledge of IT security technologies including Antivirus, Endpoint Protection, Data Leakage Protection (DLP), hard disk encryption, mobile technologies and biometric authentication systems.
* Experience supporting Windows Desktop OS and Microsoft applications environments.

Bonus points:

* McAfee product suites
* Microsoft Active Directory / Exchange environments
* VMWare Technologies
* Knowledge of Blackberry, Android and IOS smartphone and tablet technology
* Internet + Email content filtering systems
* Network management and monitoring systems
* Cisco CCNA, Microsoft certification, CompTIA certification.
* EC-Council CEH and/or CHFI
* Relevant IT security or network certifications or qualifications.
