Systems Administrator - Dublin CC based
What you will be doing
You will work within the corporate IT systems team providing software and hardware support services to on-site and remote working end users. You will be technically strong whilst having good interpersonal skills which you can bring to bear in providing a superior customer service to users. The company and staff are a collaborative bunch so expect to pitch in on other initiatives from time to time however key responsibilities will include:
* Providing on-going support across end user office systems and applications
* Provisioning and de-provisioning of Users and User IT equipment
* Prioritising and solving assigned help desk problems and issues on User Productivity Applications
* Liaising with third-party IT suppliers
* Managing proactive maintenance processes such as backup, antivirus and security patching
* IT Asset management and tracking
* Contributing to the improvement of existing Corporate System management processes to enhance end user satisfaction.
Technical Expertise
* Windows 7 and 10 desktop and laptop installation and maintenance
* Active Directory Administration - Group Policy, Security Groups, User account management
* Desktop, Printer and end user Telephony hardware, software and Application Troubleshooting
* Experience of Deployment solutions such as Symantec Altiris
It helps if you have
Experience of Microsoft Server 2008/2012 administration
* Understanding of fundamentals of LAN/WAN data networking
* VMware ESX/ESXi 5.x/6.x maintenance and troubleshooting
* Experiencing administering Cloud Productivity tools such as Office 365 or Google GSuite
* Administering Amazon AWS services
