Technical Design QA Manager
realTime require an experienced Technical Design QA Manager to join a new E2E QA Governance team in order to:
• Manage and perform individual independent QA health checks across all internal and vendor/partner owned activities, for all SDLC stages and methodologies, as required, but with core expertise on Technical Design, Build & DevOps
• Govern & QA the alignment to the Self-QA process
• Proactively capture, communicate, report, and drive relevant mitigation of all items requiring attention, as early as possible
• Minimise QA risk, wherever possible, for the programme
• Support in the provision, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a high quality E2E SDLC QA Framework for re-use in the bank within the current QA Framework


Essential Skills:
• 5+ years in a senior (SME) technical design role including solid QA experience
• 2+ years Agile / DevOps & associated toolset experience
• Experience in Waterfall / V-Model & associated toolset experience
• Delivery track record in large transformation programmes
• Excellent stakeholder & vendor management communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
• Finance sector experience



Responsibilities:
• Identification and recommendation of areas of risk that require QA Health Checks
• Scoping, preparation and performance of each assigned QA Health Check event
• Engage with the relevant programmer team members for assigned activities
• Production, communication and storage of QA Review Findings Reports
• Management of assigned actions, issues and risks from the QA Health Checks & Reviews until closure
• Alignment to and provision of Continuous Improvement (CI) feedback into the QA process
• Provision of tool-sourced QA Metrics in the required reports to support findings, where relevant, for each assigned QA activity / event
• Chairing and/or attendance at all QA-related meetings
• Maintenance & governance of programme RAID log for entries relating to QA health checks & reviews
• Reporting and escalation to the programme Head of E2E QA
