ERP Project Manager

12 month contract, Cork City

Successful SME, leading the way in their industry in Ireland, are seeking an ERP Project Manager to manage the implementation of a manufacturing ERP upgrade.

Responsibilities:

* Manage scope, budget and timing of ERP Upgrade
* Develop in depth understanding of ERP interfaces with manufacturing plant, Vendor managed Inventory, Bestmix formulation, Financial imports, & Tablet SOP
* Suggest and drive improvements in ERP interfaces
* Assist in gathering requirements and documenting business process
* Manage schedules
* Direct and motivate the project team
* Report project progress to the steering committee
* Act as the liaison between the business and vendor

Requirements:

* 4‐8 years of project management experience
* 3rd level IT related qualification preferred
* Extensive knowledge of ERP systems
* Successful management of ERP upgrade from initiation through implementation
* Project Management Requirements ‐ Experience in developing and maintaining project management documents: Project schedule, Resource assignments, Task estimates, Document management plan
* Proficiency in Microsoft SQL desirable
* Detailed understanding of hardware, networking, operating systems, DBMS, cloud tech/solutions and development languages desirable
* Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyse project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues.
* Must have excellent communication skills
