IT Network Engineer - Sligo

€45,000 DOE

Job Role

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has opened in my clients Core Networking Team. You will be given the opportunity to join as a Network Engineer that will require you to work on each client's Network Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities of Network Engineer:

* Act as a main point of escalation and ensure that the Network is functioning correctly
* Ensuring that appropriate procedures and policies are in place
* Providing expert knowledge to customers on Network upgrades and performance
* Support all customer technical issues

Key Skills of Network Engineer:

* A 3rd level degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Strong working knowledge across a number of networking areas
* Cisco certified would be an advantage (CCNA, CCNP etc)
* LAN/WAN, Active directory, Firewalls, Virtualisation and Cloud experience
* 3+ years working experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
