Our client is a leading-edge technology company that is engaged in designing, manufacturing and supplying healthcare information systems. They are now looking for a Senior Developer to join their team of innovators and pioneers.

What’s more, you’ll have the opportunity to visit our client’s other offices and customers in North America and Australia, meaning you can travel the globe while you work. 

As the Senior Developer, you’ll be responsible for helping to create our client’s Laboratory Information System (LIS). 

Specifically, you’ll design and implement a single page web application with intuitive user interfaces. Liaising with colleagues, you’ll provide maintainable and scalable solutions to even the most complex of technical problems. 

You’ll assist the Development Team with rapid prototyping and critical investigations, as well as developing software design documentation, user guides and manuals. 

Striving to provide a first-class service, you’ll provide technical support to both internal and external customers. Additionally, you’ll mentor, train and support junior members of the Software Team. 

To be considered, you must have strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript skills. Experience of the following is also key: 

- Relational databases, such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Angular 2 and Node.js
- HTML5 
- CSS stylesheets 
- Unit testing JavaScript (Jasmine or Karma) 
- The end-to-end testing of websites (preferably Cypress) 
- The full software development life cycle 
- Agile development (Scrum or Kanban)

A degree (or equivalent) in a computer, technical or numerical subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics is also essential. 

As the Senior Developer, you must be an enthusiastic team player who is happy to take the lead on technical investigations and mentor your peers.
