Software Engineer Requirements:

* Deep programming skills in one or more of, RPG/400, RPGLE, AS400, SYNON-RPG , Structured Query Language (SQL), Java, HTML5, JavaScript, Flex, ActionScript, DB2, Oracle, Active Directory
* Design Patterns
* Ability to write automated unit tests where applicable
* Ability to write automated integration tests where applicable
* Object Orientated Design (planning a system of interacting objects)
* Experience of complex refactoring techniques
* Test Driven Development (TDD)
* Pair Programming (agile software development technique)
* Solid knowledge of Continuous Integration techniques
* Solid knowledge of Continuous Deployment techniques
* Solid knowledge of design patterns
* Solid knowledge of telecoms data
* Ability to write and run complex SQL queries
* Ability to debug code at runtime
* Advanced knowledge of using SCM tools (software configuration management)
* Troubleshooting skills
* Demonstrable knowledge of a software development methodology and structured approaches to development
