Our client, an exciting start up based in Sligo requires a SQL Server / Big Data Expert to join their team.
Requirements:
• Experienced B. Tech. / B.E. / M. Tech. / MCA with 5+ years experience
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Expert understanding of RDMBS Administration (SQL Server 2014/2016, Oracle, etc), including experience with SQL data modelling and performance tuning / capacity planning
• Experience or deep knowledge of Big Data (Cloud) Storage technologies and NO SQL databases (NoSQL, DocumentDB, AzureSQL, Dynamodb)
• Must be capable of helping solution architects define data technology strategies based on need / price / performance / storage needs
• Experience with Data Warehouse technologies
• Experience or knowledge of various reporting tools / technologies, and willing to work with developers to generate complex data queries for in-house applications / reports / etc
• Strong on T-SQL language and stored procedures and should have knowledge of Power Shell script.
