TalentScope Recruitment Solutions is seeking applications for a Hardware Design Engineer for our client in the midlands, Ireland.

The Role

Work as part of the hardware development team, developing robust, automotive quality electronic and mechanical designs which meet the specifications and all required industry standards.

Communicate and work closely with members of the software and embedded software teams to design and develop complete solutions.

Arrange, conduct, participate in and contribute to routine hardware design reviews as and when required in order to produce quality products which meet and exceed the agreed and specified requirements.

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current and future technologies relevant to the companys products and markets from overall architecture to lowlevel technical details.

Requirements

Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Skills Required.

*5 Years releant experience
*Degree in Electronic Engineering
*Experience in both Analog and Digital Electronics design
*Automotive Design Experience essential
*Design experience with ARM Microcontollers, GSM/LTE, CAN, SPI, i2c, RS232, WiFi, Bluetooth, LCD, TFT, Touchscreen experience
*Experience in dealing with suppliers and other parties in the supply chain in order to ensure a smooth transition from development to production
*Practical experience and knowledge of designing for manufacture
*Experience with specifying and designing enclosures and mounting solutions.
