TitanHQ are hiring a technical support engineer to provide support for our range of UNIX (FreeBSD) and Linux (Ubuntu) based appliances. This is an opportunity for a graduate to learn valuable UNIX skills, or a guru to add their valuable knowledge to the team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The successful candidate will:
- Be fanatical about providing excellent customer support
- Have a good understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, specifically SMTP, DNS and HTTP/S
- Be able to conduct research into technical issues and other products
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Be able to document procedures and processes to create knowledge-base articles
- Have excellent spoken and written English, additional languages will be an advantage but are not required
- Relocate or commute to Galway

- Amavis-new MTA
- Squid proxy
- Apache HTTP server
- SQL, Perl, PHP, SH and BASH shell scripting, Python
