C# .Net Lead Developer

My client is a software house start up and after a recent round of funding they are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Lead Developer to join the team as they reach into international markets. My client is located in central Dublin which is convenient for public transport, this is a really exciting time for them and they are really just taking off in their field. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who is confident in both their managing and mentoring skills alongside their technical abilities.

The role will be working closely with the CTO and will be helping to free him of a lot of his responsibilities. Alongside managing and mentoring colleagues you will also be responsible for hands on projects, systems improvements and conducting code reviews.

Required Skills

* Third level degree in a related field
* 5+ years' experience in a development/engineer role
* Good communication skills
* Experience with: Windows Services, relational databases (MySQL), AWS, C#, JavaScript and query optimisation
* Experience with .Net apps on Windows platform
* Experience with windows services and web services
* 3+ years' experience managing a successful developing team
* Knowledge of working in a Unit Testing/ Test Driven Environment

Desirable Skills

* MSc or PhD (or other advanced degree) in related field
* Experience with continuous integration
* Experience with scaling up to meet demands
* Experience providing for global customers
* Experience developing software for internet based services
