VAVANCY OVERVIEW: You will be working for Evros, as an experienced System Administrator and on-site IT Infrastructure Lead with our client based in Dublin City. This is a Permanent position.

TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW: Microsoft Windows Server, WinTel, SharePoint, Azure / Virtualisation, Networking & Storage

Due to continued expansion of Evros we are now seeking to recruit a candidate that endeavours to integrate and improve our team, whilst working in an evolving and exciting environment. The role will involve:

* Working in a growing Managed Services team with procedures based on ITIL Framework and governed by ISO 20000
* Working with technical experts and business managers to support and providing input to recommendations to optimise client solutions
* Investigation and Diagnosis - establishing failing component, confirming impact, identifying any events that may have been a contributing factor
* Resolution and Recovery, reducing impact were possible
* Escalation point for other ICT teams
* Coordinating other ICT teams or 3rd parties where required
* Writing efficient, easy to follow user guides and documentation and maintaining a clear focus on building knowledge management
* Assessing infrastructure changes, raising awareness for potential impacts and play a key role in change management governance

Qualifications listed below are preferred and but not required (equivalent experience may suffice)

* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Windows Server 2008/2012
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint

Desired but not required (equivalent experience may suffice)

* 5 years' experience working in a busy managed services environment & 3 to 5 years' experience supporting end users with line of business applications

Required Skills and Knowledge

* Excellent communicator, comfortable managing the expectations of senior technical staff as well as senior management
* Proven WinTel, Azure / Virtualisation and storage experience
* An understanding of networking to be capable of identifying network issues LAN & WAN
* ITIL knowledge and experience

The successful candidate

* Has a flair for technology and enjoys problem solving and rising to challenges
* Can provide technical leadership to team mates and guidance to customers
* Demonstrates great determination in resolving complex issues and closing out projects
* Is comfortable at handling major incidents and providing leadership and input into resolution
* Is customer focused and deadline oriented in an SLA driven environment
