Data Scientist

They require a Data Scientist with experience in statistical models, relational databases and SQL. This permanent role, will see the successful candidate responsible for creating new sources of data-driven Innovation and value for customers.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Degree Qualified in analytical or technical field.
* A good understanding of statistical methods particularly in the areas of predictive modeling, data-mining and business analytics
* Knowledge of open source statistical languages and packages, preferably
R/Python.
* Experience working with relational databases and SQL
* Familiarity with non-relational databases and their query interfaces, such as MongoDB/Cassandra.
* Familiarity with visualization software and techniques (Qlikview or Tableau)
* Hands-on experience with large-scale data sets.
A General Day:
* Utilise techniques from supervised and unsupervised machine learning and provide modeling to offer business insights to prospects and customers.
* Develop re-usable implementations of models using the available technologies in databases.
* Create new product requirements for the software engineering group to improve the in-house analytics.
* Manage and assist customer engagement, requirements definition, project scoping, timeline management, and results.
* Develop and deliver analytics prototypes.
