Java Developer / Full Stack Java Developer required for an excellent contracting role with a leading technology company based in Dublin.
The company are in the early stage of a new project to transform a legacy application into a modern REST API driven system. They require an experienced Java Developer / Full Stack Java Developer to join and help drive this project forward. The profile they require is ideally somebody who has come front a Java development background and transferred into a full stack or JavaScript related role.
You will be working initially with a small team of eningeers (7) on a project that will scale upwards over the next 18+ months.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 6+ years software development expereince (Java / JEE)
* Proven commercial expereince using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular2, Angularjs, Reactjs etc.)
* Strong experience building scalable REST APIs and a strong understanding of REST API architectures
* Expereince working across modern development technoliges around Automation, Continuous Integration, Devops etc. desired
* Experience making contributions to architecture, review of tools, mentorship, team & tech leadership would be a bonus but not essential
* Experience working in an Agile environment
