The successful candidate must have BSc in CS or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 year's experience in developing, deploying and maintaining large scale Oracle database solutions.

The role will encompass the use of a broad range of database technologies, primarily Oracle 12c, but also MySQL and Amazon Aurora. Experience in Oracle 12c database performance tuning is a must. Experience of working in an Amazon AWS cloud computing environment is also required. Experience with MySQL or Amazon Aurora an advantage.

You'll be working in a small team alongside DevOps staff to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of the production database environments. In a smaller company you'll get a chance to change the way things are done and put your own stamp on the database.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* 3+ years experience administering Oracle databases (including Oracle 12c).
* Strong AWS experience.
* Experience working with MySQL and Amazon Aurora.
* Strong data analysis and Schema design experience.
* Proven troubleshooting experience.
* Experience with Agile software development and PM Methodologies.
* Strong Batch processing.
