Java Developer Contract

* 6 month rolling daily rate contract

Java Developer required for an excellent contracting role with a software company based in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Java developer to try contracting for the first time or for an experienced contractor looking for a long term position.
The role is with a leading organisation who are building new team to develop a large set of enterprise features on a modern application.
The role requires a Java Developer who is skilled with modern technologies within the Java world and who has proven experience working on meaty enterprise applications. The culture of the organisation is highly reputable, they have a very well known brand with excellent staff and contractor retention.

Desired Skills / Experience

* 4+ years Java development experience
* Solid experience across Spring & Hibernate
* Solid grasp across REST & SOAP web services
* Fair ability with SQL desired
* Past experience working from TDD
* Scrum Agile development
* Exposure to modern front end frameworks is nice to have but not essential
