Java Developer Contract

* Central Dublin - Financial Services - 6 month rolling contract

We are looking for a Java Developer / Full Stack Web Developer to join a new team and contribute to the architecture and delivery of digital experiences within the fintech domain. The projects are primarily based on some of the latest frameworks and languages such as Java 8, Typescript, Spring Boot, Angular2, AWS etc.

As a Java Developer you'll be responsible for contributing to web development best practices within a technically advanced team. You will have knowledge of complex web solutions, including such as creating rich digital experiences from flat designs, incorporating elements such as programmatic animation. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong knowledge of coding patterns, such as MVVM and version control, continuous integration, build tools, TDD and implementation processes. In addition, it would be favourable if this role has solid experience in setup and configuration of cloud based infrastructure such as AWS / OpenStack.

Desired Skills / Experience:

* Experience using a combination of the following systems; IntelliJ, Jira + Confluence, Github, Apache, Teamcity, AWS, Spring Boot, Micro-Services
* Automation experience including Grunt (or Gulp or Webpack), Jasmine, Cucumber, Maven, Docker / Chef
* Development experience using TypeScript, Angular, SASS, HTML5, OOP, Java 8 (Collections/Lambda, JAX-RS), Groovy, Apache and Cloud infrastructure
