Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Limerick City
My client specialise in corporate access technology thanks to their global, web based platform which allows users to schedule meetings anywhere in the world.
As they continue to expand, they are looking for a QA Engineer to join their team of developers and analysts. You will have previous test/development experience and be able to read and interpret Ruby.

QA Engineer Responsibilities:
* Development of test strategy, automation, detailed test plans & scripts for the platform
* Documentation of Test Cases and Test Scripts;
* Definition and preparation of Test Data;
* Review business requirements, system and functional specification documents and ensure the end to end business solution is tested thoroughly
* Liaising with the Development team
* Report on test results and sign off on modules for release
* Responsible for manual testing in addition to automated testing
QA Engineer Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent
* Ability to read and interpret Ruby.
* Ability to read and interpret JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Experience in creating Capybara/Selenium
* Experience with the RSpec Ruby Testing
* Develop & maintain standards with regards to automated tests.
* Experience of Agile Testing Methods.
* Ability to cross train other team members.
* Strong problem solving and good analytical skills (defect analysis and reporting)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to interact with databases via SQL
* Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and defect resolution processes in particular
* Time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadline
