We are looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team based in Dublin to help with the design and debug of advanced embedded systems based around our state of the art VPU.

Skills

Broad experience in the design and architecture of complex embedded systems  

ExExperience of low level embedded programming and driver development

o    Ability to understand both the hardware and software components of embedded systems.

o    Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for both hardware and software

o    Proficiency in embedded software development using C or C++ and assembly

o    Experience of new hardware bringup and debug.

o    Expert user of diagnostic equipment, scopes, logic analysers, debuggers etc.

DDesired Skills

o    Experience with embedded Linux and/or multithreading RTOS (e.g. RTEMs, eCos, freeRTOS)

o    Embedded toolchain experience such as build systems, revision control, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, etc.

o    Experience of scripting languages (python, tcl, etc)

o    Involvement and contribution to open source projects.
