Senior UI Designer - Permanent - Cork

Become a key contributor in launching a scalable, cloud-based commercial application. The Senior UI Designer will be instrumental in working with the engineering team to design and define an interaction model, user task-flows, and the overall end-to-end user experience.

About You:

* You have an insatiable curiosity to learn and stay ahead of the curve.
* You understand that in almost all cases there is no single right answer to a user interface design, and you have the courage to open your ideas to intense scrutiny and feedback to make the product better.
* You are also persuasive and diplomatic as needed to get your idea across to the customer or the engineering team.
* You have a deep understanding of the customer (perhaps more than any other engineer) and know how they respond to your product.
* You use both hemisphere of your brain; you are both creative and logical at the same time. You have an eye for elegant designs, but you also know the importance of the engineering side that will ultimately implement your design.
* You understand that great engineering teams are built upon relationships, just as much as they are built on awesome code.
* You are quirky and have a personality!

Requirements

* 5-7 years of experience in UI design.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
