The Operations team is a tight knit team who work to help each other solve all problems without the need for escalation and also mentor more junior engineers to help them evolve quickly within the company.

You'll be working extensively with Linux and side by side with the java development team supporting the java application stack. The role is very technical and will require an excellent troubleshooter and problem solver and also a great team player. The team works together brilliantly and you need to be comfortable with discussing issues with other team members if you're going to fit in and thrive in this type of environment.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline.
* 3-4 years experience supporting enterprise applications, ideally in a HA environment.
* Extensive experience configuring and administering Linux.
* Working knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, JBoss.
* Strong SQL query language knowledge.
* Good grasp of Linux based scripting languages. (bash, python)
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Excellent communication both written and verbal.
