My client is a well renowned player in the Irish IT market, and are looking to expand their team by hiring a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse SQL Consultant, based in Dublin City Centre.
They are looking for a junior and ambitious IT professional who is looking to develop and progress their career within Business Intelligence.
Your key responsibilities will include;
* Using Microsoft BI technologies to develop and deploy Business Intelligence Solutions.
* Demonstrating technical proficiency in converting, cleansing, extraction and loading of data and migration strategy and enhancement.
* Monitoring performance and tuning for data migration methods and reconciliation reports.
* Strategically implementing scalability assessments for data migration methods and reports.
* Analysis and design of data mappings; design, testing and development of data conversion / migration processes and data configurations, involving data cleansing / data migration reconciliation methods and reports and data quality assurance.
Essential Criteria
* 2+ years' relevant experience
* Self-motivated team player who can demonstrate strong leadership qualities and motivate, coach and develop your staff.
* Articulate communicator with a high level of written and oral English.
* Proven experience of successful Business Intelligence deployments as part of a team.
* Significant knowledge of database technologies; Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata.
* Significant knowledge of data migration / ETL toolsets; MS SQL Server Integration Services.
* Data discovery, cleansing and profiling.
* Writing and testing SQL statements
* Advanced IT skills.
Desirable Criteria
* Third level qualification.
* Significant experience working with MicroStrategy, Tableau etc
* Previous experience in a team lead role.
