Our client is a well-funded and well regarded start up that are offering job opportunities for software developers in an incredibly exciting field: Music production for Cinema, Ads, TV, Games etc. Getting in at a relatively early stage, there is a lot of visionary work to do in architecture and implementation and huge scope for personal growth. The job entails a strong OO background with a passion for development. Ideally you will have worked with more than one core OO language, but strong experience in just Java or Python or Ruby is fine. This is a great software job opportunity for someone who wants to join an environment where they will have ownership, design input and who wants to be in a work environment where they will be working with some excellent people.
· Solid knowledge of Javascript (ES5), HTML5 and CSS3 (with Backbone+jQuery or similar JS tech)
· Unix & Bash
· 4+ years of Java and/or Python - having both would be well regarded. Having other full-stack language combinations will be considered.
· Good basic maths and analytical abilities
· Test oriented
· Quick and eager learner essential as this is an unusual product
