Data Scientist (AI/ML research experience)
 
Data Scientist opportunity with an expanding fintech in Dublin. Our Client provides smart regulatory compliance solutions to global top-tier banks. This is an exciting role where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to develop novel and impactful solutions from ideation and initial proof-of-concept through to deployment.
 
This is permanent role with hybrid working - 1-2 days a week on site in Dublin 4, and salary guide is 75-90k (DOE)

Responsibilities:

- Assist with solution design using cutting-edge AI/ML technologies
- Keep up to date with new developments and innovations in data science and AI/ML
- Deliver high-quality data science solutions through the full project lifecycle
- Participate in planning, estimation, and organization of projects
- Support and promote the ethical, responsible and trustworthy use of AI in line with industry best practice.

Requirements:

- 4+ years experience as a data scientist (ideally University research + business area)
- Strong hands-on Python experience, including common Python data processing and machine learning libraries
- Strong knowledge of Language Modelling technology applying ML and NLP
- Demonstrated experience across the full AI/ML project lifecycle
- Formal qualification (MSc / PhD etc) which included AI industry best practice
