Senior Staff Backend Engineers (Java/AWS/Big Data)
Dublin (Remote in Ireland)
Negotiable - €130K - €150K p/a + RSUs | Bonus | Health | Pension etc

Java | AWS Ecosystem | Kafka | Spark | Hive

You’ll join a team of extremely talented engineers in Dublin (about 25 in the Irish tech function), a household name in the industry… and they’re looking to double their headcount in 2024.

At the moment it’s all about scaling their platform, it’s already processing 50 Terabytes of data daily, 300 Billion transactions per day with 30% growth year on year. We’ll be making multiple hires on this team, Senior, Staff & Principal Levels… looking for top backend engineers first and foremost, ideally a Java background, and an appetite to work with big data technologies ideal.

Open to remote anywhere in Ireland but it would be great if you were commutable to Dublin. Attractive overall compensation on offer, nice RSUs & Bonus package.

Experience:

- 10+ years’ experience in Software Engineering
- JVM Development experience (Java ideal)
- End-end development experience
- An appetite to work with Big Data (Tools like Spark etc).
- Experience in the AWS ecosystem
- Team leadership experience would be ideal
