Searching for a new Environments Manager to oversee environments, applications, and data for large-scale programs with a thriving consultancy client. This role includes managing frameworks and tools to drive IT environment and data management activities, focusing on client needs and test environment planning. A broad technical background with high-level IT architecture, design, networking, and application support knowledge is essential.
*Initial 6 month contract expected to roll
* 3 days a week onsite in Dublin
*Rate 350-400 per day
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in environment management or related roles.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles and ability to script (Shell, Python etc) and code/automate (Java/Selenium etc)
- Experience with SQL and querying database
- Experience with Linux OS and Oracle ServiceBus would be good
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, network, applications, and middleware
- Hands-on skills in hardware installation, system configuration, and physical troubleshooting
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Telecoms expertise in Fixed and Mobile network technologies - beneficial
