Senior Security Operations Engineer

- 12-Month Contract
- Dublin City Centre – 2 days per week onsite

We have a requirement for an experienced Security Operations Engineer with a strong understanding of Security Ops, Infrastructure, Azure, and Cloud Computing.
The company are currently in the process of rolling out new security products, and they plan to hire someone as a long-term contractor and assist them with the implementation of these projects – Great time to join!
What you will need:

- 5+ years’ experience in a Security Operations
- Experience with Microsoft Security Suite products – Azure, Sentinel and Defender
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure – Entra ID, Conditional Access, Enterprise Apps, App Registrations, Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Governance, Azure Infrastructure, Entra Connect, Intune, Secure Score, Exposure Management, Exchange Online Protection, Purview
- Familiarity with firewall technologies, SIEM (Sentinel), EDR (Crowdstrike), IDS/IPS concepts, email Security products, Vulnerability Management (Qualys) an advantage.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO27001, CIS, NIST) an advantage.
- Security certification such as CISSP, CompTIA Network+/Security+ etc. is advantageous.
