I'm searching for a Data Engineer on contract basis for a rapidly expanding Data Innovation hub in Dublin. Our Client is a break off member of one of the largest organisations in the world and leverages that scale to design bespoke data models for a diverse portfolio of businesses. They access a wide source of business data from across the globe, which offers a unique opportunity to design, lab-test and trial scalable business solutions in a reliable and secure environment.

This role will involve working with large data sets, organising data and putting into a large data warehouse, and managing pipelines/reports.

*3 month contract initially, expected to roll into another
*Day rate circa 400euro per day
*Remote working throughout Ireland

Requirements

- 5+ years data engineering experience
- Good experience with data warehousing
- Experience with ODI (Oracle Data Integrator), Oracle, PL/SQL
- Experience with PowerBI and BI Publisher
- Experience with OBIEE (ideally 12c or above)
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
- Experience with Python, SQL and Spark - great to have
- MS Azure knowledge would -great to have
- A background within utilities sector - great to have
