Technical Lead (Startup)
Remote (in Ireland) |Dublin
Up to €120K p/a + Equity, 5% Pension, Family Healthcare etc
                          
 
We’re looking for a hands-on technical lead to help architect / continue the build on a fintech product and help shape a growing engineering function. You’ll work closely with the CTO, they’ve made some very impressive hires so far but looking for this very senior hire on the backend, someone to take ownership over some of the bigger picture stuff on the software side, major refactoring, architecture etc.

They have a very successful business so far, still an early stage startup but over 300 businesses using their product, Irish-owned, recognised as a top-3 Irish startup last year, they have a super impressive senior leadership team (who have already had/been a part of successful startups), and closing in on Series-A funding. Their stack is Python/Django/AWS, but since it will be heavier on Architect/Leadership etc, they’re open to people from any technical background (especially if you’ve been successful in startups).
 
 
 
The ideal person...

- Technical Leadership/Architecture experience, ideally in a startup.
- Experienced building software end-end.
- Experienced making big architectural decisions.
- Python experience would be nice to have.
- Comfortable liaising with product, senior management, engineers and wider business.
- Top communication skills.
