Infrastructure Security Vendor Manager required for large financial services Client in South Dublin. This role will work closely with the 3rd party vendor to ensure sufficient IT Security vulnerability remediation, device patching and secure configuration management.
 
Salary guide is 70K base + excellent benefits and this can be primarily remote role with occasional visits to Dubin office (once every 2 weeks for example)
 
Responsibilities

- Help drive initiatives to improve quality of Patching, Secure Configuration management etc
- Oversee and manage end user patching by the 3rd party vendor
- Ensure controls for Patching, Vulnerability Management and Secure Configuration are in place and executed
- Provide technical support, guidance and expertise to support the delivery of the services
- Expertise to incident / problem management as required
- Help deliver on internal and external audits
- Produce management reports on Vulnerability Management, KPIs etc

 
Requirements

- 5+ years IT industry experience
- Experience in provision of security support related services – audit, control testing, patching, vulnerability management etc.
- Banking / Financial Services industry experience is required
- Governance experience of outsourced service partners
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix / Linux and Networking
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tooling
- Project Management experience - reporting skills with Excel / PowerPoint etc
