Senior Backend Engineer (Kotlin/Java)
Dublin 2 (Hybrid, onsite 2 days p/w)
Up to €100K p/a + bonus, healthcare, 5% pension etc

Kotlin / Spring Boot / Java/ K8s / AWS / Kafka / NoSQL

This is one of Ireland’s most successful tech scale-ups over the past 5 years. You’ll be slotting into a team of senior engineers, completely greenfield development, designing, building microservices and working alongside the Ops team on AWS deployments. They generally hire people coming from the JVM, they also use Kafka heavily so it would be ideal for someone who enjoys that.

This will only suit engineers who can be in the office (near Stephen’s Green) 2 days per week.

What we’re looking for..

- 6+ years’ experience in software engineering.
- A JVM background (most engineers they hire have Java/Spring Boot backgrounds).
- AWS Serverless experience would be nice to have.
- Experience building microservices.
- Kafka experience is a big plus.
