**Overview:**
Join our Finance Technology team and play a key role in the technology division of a leading global financial services organization. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in regulatory reporting projects within Tier 1 Investment Banks. This is a contract role where you will collaborate with diverse teams across multiple global locations, contributing to the success of critical regulatory reporting initiatives.
 
**Responsibilities:**

- Work closely with business partner teams to deliver Capital and other Regulatory Reporting projects, focusing on COREP, Statistical, Finrep, and Anacredit.
- Apply expertise in accounting, data analysis, and project management to contribute to the design and implementation of a new regulatory reporting platform.
- Analyze and document business and technical processes for data sourcing, normalization, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with key business subject matter experts, development, and testing teams to produce comprehensive business requirements.
- Review and approve test scenarios/cases, supporting business partners during User Acceptance Testing phases.
- Maintain Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specifications in line with business SMEs and BAs' requirements.
- Partner with project managers to ensure adherence to governance policies, standards, and processes.
- Provide advisory support to software developers during build and test project phases.
- Independently assess project/program business cases and provide sign-off.
- Ensure effective communication of project governance to all stakeholders.

 
**Essential Role Competencies:**
- Experience in mandatory regulatory implementations within a Tier 1 Investment Bank.
- High-level understanding of financial products and key asset classes (Debt, Equity, Commodity, etc.).
- Strong control mentality with fundamental accounting and reconciliation skills.
- Proficient in data analysis using MS Excel and SQL, including the ability to analyze large volumes of data.
- Experience in creating test scenarios and conducting User Acceptance Testing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across global locations.
- In-depth knowledge of delivering within an Agile development environment.

This role is immediately available and is based in the Dublin office. The role offers flexible working with 2 days from home and 3 days on-site. You must have full working rights to be eligible for this position.
