Software company based in South Dublin looking to hire a Senior Application Support Engineer:

Salary - €50-55k + benefits

On-site - South Dublin (Hybrid after 6 month probationary period).

Evening shift, Monday - Friday 2pm-10.30pm.

Please note all applicants must have a European passport, Stamp 1G or Stamp 4, as sponsorship is not available at this time.

Responsibilities:

- Provide timely application support and troubleshoot technical issues for customers.

- Collaborate with DevOps team to analyze and address root causes of issues and improve processes.

- Monitor application performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.

- Implement automation and enhance DevOps practices.

- Document troubleshooting steps and share knowledge to promote continuous improvement.

- Stay updated on industry trends related to application support and DevOps practices.

Your Profile:

- Computer Science or Engineering degree.

- Senior application support experience in Enterprise or SaaS companies, focusing on complex software troubleshooting and problem resolution, and ERP queries.

- Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.

- Experience with DevOps tools, particularly Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud.

- Skilled in defining metrics, SLIs, SLOs, and utilizing them for rollbacks and disaster recovery.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and expertise in Root Cause Analysis reporting.

- Capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and working well under pressure.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven record of process improvement and automation implementation.

- Customer-centric mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional support.

- Relevant DevOps certifications or related credentials are advantageous.

- Fluent in written and spoken English with eligibility to work in Ireland.
