Solution Architect - Infrastructure / Hosting
Contract role - 12 months, daily rate & extendable.

The core focus of this role is to design and implement scalable, robust and secure Infrastructure hosting solutions leveraging virtualization, cloud, storage and compute technologies. Also, creating high-level design documentation to capture the architecture and provide guidance for implementation project teams & Technical deployment teams.
High-Tech Multinational Enterprise is seeking an Experienced Solution Architect for 1 of its 'Towers' / 'Pillars' within its Enterprise Architecture Division, with a focus on Designing Global Solutions, within Infrastructure / Hosting Architecture Group.
Your role will be to engage with Business Relationship Managers, understanding the business requirements and providing the solutioning - creating & designing the solutions through the generation of HLD's, LLD's and cost estimates and overseeing the Solution Design to be implemented.
You will engage with Senior Stakeholders across the Corporate Business Functions, Senior Technical Managers and Technical Specialists within 3rd party vendors & Systems Integration organisations. The Projects you will work on will be for use globally within the organisation and include projects such as Datacentre decommissioning, Migrations, Expansions as well as New Solution Designs / New Hosting Infrastructure builds, Infrastructure Migration to the Cloud, etc.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a focus on large Enterprise, corporate solutions for a company that operates in over 40 countries worldwide.
Expertise Required
We are seeking experienced IT Solutions Architects - specialists in Infrastructure (Hosting, Compute, Virtualisation) AND Cloud Solutions with the following expertise:
* 8+ years corporate commercial expertise
* Proven expertise as an Infrastructure Solution Architect, Solutions Architect or Technical Architect with strong business and stakeholder engagement skills
* Background working in Multinational enterprise, International Consultancies or Systems Integration Specialist Organisations
* Deep knowledge and experience on Infrastructure design, especially Hosting, Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), Compute, SAN AND Cloud Solutions is ESSENTIAL
* Architect level knowledge and experience with converged Enterprise Infrastructure - storage, compute, cloud (AWS, Azure or Google) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper V) technologies
* Any Networking, Storage, CommVault Backup solutions knowledge is a nice-to-have
* Hands-on experience in high level design (HLD), low level design (LLD) and cost estimations; distributed, scalable and highly available modern architecture; Digital transformation and Cloud Migration, Infrastructure Modernisation and Rationalisation
* Exposure to various cross-functional business domains - e.g. Sales, HR, Marketing, Supply-chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc
* Vendor product/solution assessment and selection
* Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills
* Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
* Effective communicator and presenter in formal and informal settings, who is capable of communicating a compelling and inspired vision or sense of purpose
Hybrid Work environment
Contract Duration: 6 months + extendable
Daily Rates: €600-700pd
