DevOps Lead – AWS – North Dublin
 
My client, a successful Financial Services Payments enterprise is continuing to expand and has partnered with IT Search to engage DevOps leaders, both technical and team management who may be looking for a move into Financial Services and or join an innovative company with excellent growth plans.
 
The role will be to take a lead role in all aspects of the DevOps environment, adapting and improving processes and releases through pipeline efficiency, automation and working with other divisions (Development, QA, Product) to ensure the smoothest deployment.
 
The role:

- Responsible for guiding a small team of mid level DevOps Engineers
- Become familiar with my client’s suite of products and focus on improvement to deployment
- Maintain all aspects of the deployment cycle, managing releases and CI/CD pipelines
- Manage areas such as documentation, security issues and addressing outages etc

 
Requirements:

- 8 years of commercial experience with at least two as acting lead
- Strength in AWS deployment, a Linux sys admin background
- Configuration, CI/CD, Scripting and Release Management experience
- Financial Services experience a bonus but not a pre-requisite
- Tools such as Docker, Python, Jira, SQL DBA experience or similar most welcome
