Platform Architect My Dublin-based client is a market leader in the provision of core systems for health and life insurance across the US, EU and Asia, scaling rapidly off the back of their launch of a suite of end-to-end SaaS products in the insurance space. They are looking for a talented Platform Architect to work in their DevOps team to be responsible for automation design, engineering, configuration and optimisation, while providing support to their cloud infrastructure and product engineering teams. Role Overview: As a Platform Architect, you will work closely with enterprise architecture and security teams to leverage your DevOps expertise in automation design, continuous integration and delivery and configuration management to plan, design, document and optimise automation infrastructure within cloud environments using AWS. Experience: In-depth expertise in AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2 etc.) Experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), configuration management and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Chef and Git. Understanding of Networking concepts such as Routing, Firewalls and Load Balancing. At least 8 years' experience in a software engineering role with previous exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Ability to create readable and reliable code with an openness to learn new technologies as and when required. Experience in a technically challenging development role covering multi-platform environments (e.g. Unix, Linux, Windows).
