UX Designer – Dublin City/Hybrid/Remote from Ireland
Our Client is a global leader in smart building monitoring solutions (Building Information Modelling (BIM), 3D Modelling, Augmented reality etc) used by blue chip clients across numerous sectors, including data centre, pharmaceutical, healthcare etc. My client provides Software as a Service (SaaS) deployed across Azure for global customers to manage multiple large scale projects.
With the backing of recent expansion funding the company is expanding globally and has a new opening for a mid level UX developer with strong UI experience to join their Development team. The HQ is in Dublin but there is room for remote working from within Ireland but the ideal is to be able to visit the Dublin office regularly.
Role Responsibilities
- Working closely with user base to address UX/UI issues they may be coming across
- Work through existing workflows within a range of applications (desktop, mobile and AR/VR), automating where possible, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks/issues
- Create wireframes with Product Management team, A/B testing at each stage
- Unify design look and feel of all applications over time
- Take responsibility for consistent branding across a suite of applications
- Working with Marketing team on design aspects (to ensure consistency)
Role Requirements
- 5 years of post grad commercial experience working on UX for SaaS products, ideally a suite including mobile devices and (any Virtual/Augmented Reality experience very welcome)
- Visual element creation working alongside front end JS developers
- A range of tools (Balsamic, Figma, Sketch), additional JavaScript knowledge will be a bonus
- Additional 3D tools will be advantageous as you’ll have exposure to work in this area
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- A strong online portfolio of your work
