Your new company This role will see you working for a long-established Pharmaceutical Organisation with a huge presence in Northern Ireland. Your new role Within this company, you will be responsible for several aspects of the company's security. This primarily means working to detect, analyse and limit intrusions from malicious third parties. You will routinely perform network security monitoring and incident response, utilising cutting-edge software and techniques. You will act as a point of contact for key stakeholders, to articulate ongoing projects and work related to security incidents. You will record and report incidents where necessary, and in a timely fashion. You will perform vulnerability tests and escalate issues to higher members of staff where necessary, or fix/patch them where you can. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree or up to 3 years' experience in a similar role, where skills will be transferrable. You will preferably have the ability to work in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environment, exhibiting a comprehensive knowledge of common/current IT standards. You will also have a broad awareness of hardware/software security products.For this role it will also be extremely beneficial if you have further certifications, such as CEH, OSCP, GIAC or Security+ certifications.
