Software Engineering Manager My client are a world-leading advertising solutions provider looking for a seasoned Software Engineering Manager with experience managing software development teams while possessing expertise across a range of technologies. The ideal individual will have strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and will be based in Waterford, Ireland. Role Overview: As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the client's latest software products while managing, developing and growing a productive and innovative software development team. You will thrive working across multiple disciplines including Engineering, Project, Product, QA and Design to deliver functional product features while ensuring all code output is of a high quality. Technical Experience: Six years' experience working in Software Development environments with a strong knowledge of the SDLC. Two years' experience managing Software Development teams, managing performance and development on a one-to-one and team basis. Expertise in a combination of frontend and backend technologies in large-scale environments E.g. JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Go. Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes. Demonstrable experience reviewing and approving code while acting as a mentor to continually develop junior developers. Knowledge of design aesthetics with natural drive for simplification. Ability to transfer loose ideas from initiation to production while accounting for architecture, development and testing phases. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.
