Threat Hunt Specialist (Cyber Security) Dublin - Hybrid Working 6 Month Contract - Daily Rate My client is seeking a Cyber Security Threat Hunt Analyst to join their company on a contract basis. You will be a vital addition to the existing global team, and the role will involve working alongside the wider security team. Responsibilities: Reframe threat hunt missions by formulating precise threat hypotheses using Threat Intelligence Develop improved threat models to gain a deeper understanding of organizational vulnerabilities Enhance the prioritisation of mitigation efforts based on these models Analyse system, network, and application logs to identify attack techniques across the cyber kill chain Create and maintain a library of threat-detection resources Author and keep up-to-date playbooks and operational instructions Conduct risk assessments and communicate threat findings to relevant stakeholders Generate new security content, including signatures, alerts, workflows, and automation, as a result of hunt missions Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in a technical position within Threat Intelligence, Offensive Security, Incident Response or Security Operations Specific experience carrying out Threat Hunting in a previous role in an active environment Strong experience working with Linux and Windows-based systems Proficient with Python or other similar scripting language Familiar with common networking protocols eg HTTP, DNS, SMB Previous working experience in network / host-based analysis Previous direct experience with sizable datasets and log analysis tools To apply for this position, please click on the link below or contact Bláthnaid at Reperio for more information.
