Your new company Hays are delighted to be working with a client who are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team in Belfast. The role will be a Data Analyst role focusing on SQL, Excel and Power BI within the retail sector. Your new role You will be responsible for combining data from multiple sources to create and maintain dashboards to display business insights. You will also ensure accuracy of data and reports from multiple sources as well as providing ongoing analysis and reporting to the business. You will be working with stakeholders to develop reports that meet their requirements while staying up to date with PowerBI practices. What you'll need to succeed
* Advanced expertise in Excel and SQL including experience with interactive dashboards.
* Experience writing queries that join multiple tables and aggregate data.
* Experience with Power BI dashboards and a strong understanding of DAX formulas.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, ideally working with PowerPivot and data cubes.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to present complex information in an easy format and compelling manner.
* Excellent communication skills
* A growth mindset to continually develop and improve on our present reporting suite.
