€35k + Healthcare & Pension + On call Dublin Office - Hybrid Working Fast MSP environment Own Car Required The role is expected to work with other relevant teams such as Service Desk, with the aim of providing world class technical support and service to their customers. Technically focused, the MS Engineer is proficient in their sphere of technical expertise, covering vendor technologies such as Windows, O365, Active Directory, Cisco, NetApp, VMware and Microsoft, to what would be considered a second level support equivalent. It is important to have a good attitude desire to continue upskilling and learning. Knowledge and Experience Excellent team working, customer communications and service focus Experience of IT technical service and managed operations, preferably within a Managed Service Provider organisation Broad awareness across technology services, including but not limited to, cloud, datacentre infrastructures, networking, and other areas relevant to the my client Good team work ethic Some knowledge of vendors such as VMware, NetApp, Microsoft, Cisco Good attention to detail Follows defined processes, communicates well where problems are identified Supports the management team Awareness of ITIL good practice frameworks, ITIL foundation preferred Responsibilities Provide 1st/2nd line break/fix incident support and root cause analysis by phone, email, remote session & onsite for customer s contracted solutions in accordance with technically aligned individual skill set. Deliver contracted managed services, also in accordance with technically aligned individual skill set, to end customers as per contracted requirements (including monitoring, reporting & administration of customer contracted end-point systems). Ensure all service and support engagements are logged and tracked appropriately on central logging systems and, where necessary, handovers are carried out to secondary resources. Assist with any on-call and/or out of hours duties or requirements, as directed by Managed Services management. Assist with customer site visits, where required, for troubleshooting/hardware replacements, and/or as part of service delivery entitlements. Assist in the fulfilment of partner program training and accreditation requirements and certifications. Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate vendor and/or internal teams.
