We are looking for a customer-focused and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer to provide physical touch support of network infrastructure incidents and requests on our client Intel's site based in Leixlip, Ireland. Working directly in a team of 8 and within a larger onsite Network and Data Centre support team, you will support major network incidents. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will: Analyse and troubleshoot network problems up, supporting Intel's day-to-day operations network team Plan and schedule daily tasks according to priority and severity Support networks in remote locations within the Leixlip site Be able to troubleshoot/diagnose WLAN Issues and escalate to 2nd Level Support if required Ensure that all incidents and requests for Networks are logged, updated and resolved Participate in project assignments when required Support Asset Management audits Perform monthly room safety audits and follow-up/closure on issues highlighted What we're looking for: Previous experience / knowledge of Cisco kit, i.e. Cisco CAT OS & CAT IOS Switches and Routers (small/medium & large switches) Terminal server experience Excellent customer focus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to adhere to processes and procedures Being a team player essential Desirable skills / qualifications: At least 1 years experience in a similar position Safe pass certified CCNA or studying towards CCNA certification is desirable This is an excellent opportunity to join us and as an employee you will gain access to a large library of training courses and accreditations to help further your skills and development.
