Lead Software Engineer (J2EE, AWS) Location: Remote Salary: Up to €80k p/a plus excellent benefits, including 10% bonus and private medical care. We are seeking to hire an experienced Software Engineer on behalf our of client, a large multi-national firm operating in the Financial Services space. They employ in excess of 35,000 staff across the globe, with around 600 of those based in Ireland. This is an opportunity for someone to lead a small team of Engineers, while gaining exposure to new areas of technology such as Salesforce and DevOps. Requirements: Strong experience in API design and development and API Security using OAuth. SwaggerHub, Open API Specification, API Gateway Experience in designing and developing solution using AWS Cloud Serverless technologies. Strong knowledge of using Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Kinesis and such AWS services. Hands on experience in design and development of Serverless, Event Driven Applications and APIs on AWS Cloud platform. Excellent understanding of working with relational databases, schema design, stored procs and complicated SQL queries/joins with various RDBMS including MS SQL Server, Oracle Good understanding of NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB Extensive experience using J2EE technology stack and design, develop and maintain solutions on WebLogic, Websphere Liberty Experience in working with various J2EE Frameworks including Web Services, REST Services, MVC, EJB, JMS, Spring and Hibernate.
