Senior Frontend Developer – FinTech – Dublin South – Hybrid onsite/WFH
 
IT Search has been engaged to speak to a Senior Frontend Developer with an interest in FinTech, Blockchain and Financial Services in general. The role will be majority remote with occasional office visits.
 
The company is in post start-up phase and is now expanding its product range and depth in the area of a niche Financial Instrument and are looking for not only the right skill set in Javascript (Vue.JS preferable but other libraries will be considered) but also a similar mindset, producing performant software but with the end user in mind.
 
The role is to work with the existing team of developers, Data Scientists UX and Product Managers to design and implement front end features, have input on roadmaps and bring prior experience to ensure a world class product. Our client is in a position to present a lucrative and innovative work environment and conditions that reflects the trends in development practices.
 
A key point is to deliver highly performant Frontends for both web and mobile interfaces/applications.
 
Ideally candidates will have:

- 8 Years of commercial experience with Frontend Development on SaaS
- High level of knowledge of various JS libraries (Vue.JS being used mostly)
- Experience in Developing on or for the Ionic Framework or similar a definite advantage
- A natural QA mindset, continuously aware of unit testing and the ability to link with backend systems (powered by Ruby on Rails)
- Managing responsive layouts for various dashboards
- FinTech experience or perhaps trading experience as well
