Temporary Full-Time Band 5 Governance Officer, based in Bush House, Antrim. Mon-fri 9am-5pm 37.5 hpw, £13.84 an hour, temporary ongoing as per business need and starting ASAP. The role will support the Regional Mortality and Morbidity Review System (RMMRS) and Governance Data and Reporting Systems. This involves supporting the system, including the facilitation of M&M Review meetings which consider all deaths within the Trust. Provide high quality information and analysis. To support the Patient Safety function, system support and reporting. Assist with the production and updating of patient/clients safety plans and reports, organise and attend meetings. The role as required will also involve duties to support risk management functions, including Coroners cases and Medical Negligence Claims by working in close collaboration with colleagues in Risk Management to ensure continuity in the delivery of work. Applicants must possess: Either Degree in an ICT Discipline, Mathematics, Business Studies, Finance or other discipline where there is an element of Information or ICT plus 1 years practical experience in the extraction, presentation and analysis of data and in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes (or equivalent) such as Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint. The preparation of reports for Senior Staff either internal/external. OR HND/HNC in an ICT Discipline, Mathematics, Business Studies, Finance or other discipline where there is an element of Information or ICT plus 2 years practical experience in the extraction, presentation and analysis of data and in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes (or equivalent) such as Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint. OR 4 years practical experience in the extraction, presentation and analysis of data and in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programmes (or equivalent) such as Word, Excel, Access PowerPoint. The preparation of reports to Senior Staff either internal/external. Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post. 1. Demonstrate ability to analyse, interpret and present complex statistical information to support the Trust Assurance Framework 2. Effective planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload 3. Ability to use own initiative and work well as part of a wider team 4. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with staff at all levels, in all disciplines and work collaboratively
