Bidding Manager - Facilities Location: Dublin - Remote with some travel to customer sites (Dublin, Cork, Limerick) I am looking to speak with experienced Bidding Managers about this super new job opportunity in Dublin for a Bidding Manager role with one of our facilities management clients? This role can be worked remotely and will require some travel to customer sites which are primarily in Dublin, Cork and limerick, company car provided. The Role The Bidding Manager's primary role is to manage and oversee the bidding team by coordinating and evaluating all bid activities from bid writing and estimations in addition to ensuring all steps of the bid are planned, managed and executed throughout the bid lifecyle. In addition the role will require some focus on key elements of Bidding Manager through proactively promoting and creating sales opportunites for all divisions within the business. Responsibilities Own, oversee and manage the tender responses for all Client bids whilst assessing and addressing any technical and commercial risks. Devise a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points coupled with understanding the clients' specific requirements in the bid. Ensure the final bid submission is aligned with the company's operating and profit margins and is therefore commercially viable and profitable. Evaluate bid opportunities and feed into the decision whether the work is feasible and fits into the companies business model. Lead and grow the bidding team to ensure all deadlines and targets are achieved. Manage, develop and engage the bidding team to deliver on sales solutions that are aligned with business objectives. Identify methods to improve the quality, consistency and efficiency of the bid process. Represent the company at any new business opportunities, bid presentations and trade shows. On bid submission, undertake contract negotiation in conjunction with the legal team where necessary. Utilise proven sales pipeline development processes and techniques at all times. Own and deliver outcomes agreed for sales growth. Identify, persuade, and inspire prospective clients Deliver monthly revenue and activity reports on sales and pipeline sales. Update and maintain client and prospective database, conforming with company requirements regarding IT systems and CRM policy. Build and maintain relationships with key target customers and networks to ensure the Business growth. Source new leads and proactively seek and secure new business. All other duties as assigned by your line managerQualifications & Skills 3 Years' Experience working in a similar role in facilities management 3rd Level Degree in Business preferable Must be highly organised, methodical, with emphasis on detail, data & timeliness Proven Bidding Manager with a history of achieving and exceeding targets Can-do attitude continually looking for ways to drive sales and margin growth. Great communicator, with ability to present to potential clients Ability to drive improvements while building strong internal and external relationships Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude Willingness to "roll your sleeves up" and get the job done yet clearly understand priorities, and juggling selection of task Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible company team environment A strong leader with a skill for engaging others.
