Senior Java Developer Contract 12 Months Dublin. My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join their team on a contract basis for 12 months. You will be expected to deliver solutions by providing direct development of software solutions. You will assist with production support issues by acting as point-of-contact and subject matter expert in resolving incidents and problem tickets. You will work closely with technical leads, software engineers, business & system analysts to define features and user stories. You will contribute to the planning and development of software solutions. You will Possess the aptitude to quickly learn and contribute to their complex platform. You will be expected to perform code reviews of co-worker's deliverables to ensure best practices. Successful candidates will have experience with cloud software development (PCF, Azure) and development on microservices architecture. You will have experience and proficiency with Java SDK 1.8 or greater. You will have a deep knowledge of software development processes including SAFe/Agile processes. You will have a A wide breadth and depth of technical experience including JBoss, Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multi-threading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka and Spring framework tech stack. You will have expertise with Eclipse or IntelliJ and ability to compile, deploy and execute code artifacts.
